Work gloves are made by sorts of drawing, texture and material. In general, they are weaved by high-quality fiber to adjust to different working environment. Everything is different after add coating on the surface of knitted gloves. Comfort, mobility and dexterity of finger are not be changed, but gloves working possibility is bigger. These safety gloves can work in the wide scope, they are trustworthy partner range from electrical work to mechanical and pipeline tasks. The unlimited possibility of coating material provides perfect choice for every professional and amateur. Some most popular coating material are following:

Coating material includes natural rubber, synthetic rubber (Chloroprene / Nitrile rubber / Butyl & Viton®-butyl ) and plastic ( Polyurethane / Polyvinyl chloride).

Natural rubber also is called “latex”, it is founded in the more than 200 plants, but the most common source is rubber plant. The natural rubber is called “latex” when it was dispersed in the water. The natural rubber possesses of strong elasticity, compare with other coating material of gloves, it also has excellent performance in anti-cutting & anti-tearing, outstanding grip and temperature tolerance. It is flexible and durable in the wide temperature range, from 18℃ to 149℃ (0°F-300°F), but with lower fire resistance. Normally, natural rubber withstands water, alcohols, and some ketones, but has poor chemical resistance against most hydrocarbon and organic solvents. In addition, natural rubber may induce anaphylaxis of some people.

Nitrile is an aggregate of acrylonitrile and butadiene. It offers excellent physical resistance to puncture, cutting, snags and abrasion. While Nitrile is not provided with fire resistance, it displays functional property in temperatures ranging from -4°C to 149°C (25°F to 300°F). Nitrile has pretty resistance to oil, fuel and some organic solvent. It usually is used as coating of gloves, also is appreciated to dissect, impregnate, cut & sew construction of gloves.

Polyurethane (PU)  is a urethane of thermoplastic polyurethane. Polyurethane has outstanding abrasion resistant and tensile strength. It can against oil, organic solvent and ozone strongly, but only with poor resistance to hot water, which is not suggested to be used above 79°C (175°F). Polyurethane  possesses of lower particulate shed, so it is one good choice for clean room gloves. Polyurethane also is applied in some special application styles and as liner of water-proof gloves.

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is a synthetic thermoplastic polymer of vinyl chloride。PVC is provided with outstanding abrasion performance, but it may be cut, puncture and snag easily. It is flexible , while can`t offer tactile sensitivity associates with most rubber products. Polyvinyl begins to soften at 82°C (180°F) . PVC can against water, most water solutions, detergents, and diluted bases & acids effectively, but only has limited chemical resistance to organic solvent. Polyvinyl is one of the most common coating for coated work gloves.
