Precautions during use of cut resistant gloves

 

1. Select cut-resistant gloves suitable for different workplaces as required. The size of gloves should be appropriate, blood flow will be restricted if gloves are too tight, it is easy to cause fatigue and uncomfortable of hands. In contrast, it is not flexible and easy to fall offit if gloves are too loose.

2. The selected gloves must have sufficient protection. In the environment where anti-cut gloves should be used, anti-cut gloves made of synthetic yarn cannot be used. In order to ensure protective function, gloves must be changed regularly. There is a risk of injury to hands or skin if the life span is exceeded,.

3. Check gloves at any time for small holes, damaged and abraded places, especially the seams. Chemical resistant gloves can be inspected by using inflation method.

4. Pay attention to the using occasion of industrial gloves. If a pair of gloves is used in different places, the service life of gloves may be reduced greatly.

5. Pay attention to safety during use. Do not drop contaminated gloves arbitrarily to avoid causing harm to others. Keep gloves not in used in a safe place.

6. When removing gloves, focus on the correct method to prevent harmful substances contaminated by gloves from contacting the skin & clothes and causing secondary pollution.

7. It is better not share gloves with others, because the inside of gloves is a breeding ground for bacteria and microorganisms. Sharing gloves is likely to cause cross infection.

8. Wash your hands before wearing gloves, to make sure wear gloves on clean (sterile) hands, otherwise, bacteria are likely to grow. After removing gloves, wash your hands and rub hand cream to replenish oil.
