Heat-insulating gloves are generally made of high-temperature heat-resistant materials, such as aramid, fire-resistant silicone and so on.
Heat-insulating glove is one type of gloves specifically used to protect hands from heat and cold, which are widely used in industries, kitchens and other places. The main function of heat-insulating gloves is to insulate and keep warm, so materials need to have high-temperature & heat resistance, fireproof, heat-resistant, and not easy to burn as well.
There are many kinds of material for making heat-insulating gloves, mainly includes the following categories:
Aramid material. Aramid material is a polyimide fiber with high-temperature heat resistance, which is used for heat-insulating gloves in high-temperature environments.
Fire-resistant silicone. Fire-resistant silicone is a polymer material with good high-temperature and low-temperature resistance, it can withstand the temperature in high-temperature oven, so it is also one of the commonly used materials for making heat-insulating gloves.
Stainless steel wire. Stainless steel wire is one metal material. The heat-insulating gloves made of stainless steel wire not only have good heat-insulating properties, but also have good wear resistance and durability.
Fluororubber. Fluororubber is one chemical material with excellent properties such as acid & alkali resistance, oil resistance, high temperature resistance, and oxidation resistance. It can also be used in the production of heat-insulating gloves.
Polyethylene. Polyethylene is a common plastic material with good heat resistance and corrosion resistance, as well as good softness and wear resistance. Therefore, it is also often used in the production of heat-insulating gloves.
Nitrile rubber. Nitrile rubber has good oil resistance and chemical resistance, as well as good wear resistance and heat resistance. Therefore, it is also often used in the production of heat-insulating gloves.
In general, the materials used to make heat-insulating gloves need to have high-temperature & heat resistance, fire resistance, heat resistance, as well as good wear resistance and durability, so as to protect hands from heat and cold damage effectively.
