Cut-proof rating: The more common cut-proof standard is UK EU BS EN 388 (equivalent to the Australian/New Zealand standard AS/NZS 2161.3). The specification covers four types of mechanical risks: wear-resistance, cut-resistance, tear-resistance and stab-resistance. Gloves that meet specification must be marked with a shield logo of blacksmith' s hammer iron, with a protection rating from 1 to 4, cut-proof rating can up to 5 grade. In some cases, "x" and "0" also is used, indicating that they are not applicable and rated. Gloves shall also comply with the general, comfort, efficiency, test procedures & markings and data requirements of BS EN 420, such as water penetration and the release of hexavalent chromium from leather gloves.

Function of
cut-proof gloves & Cut resistant sleeve: cut-proof, stab-resistant, non-slip and wear-resistant. It means cut-resistant gloves have excellent anti-cutting performance, wear resistance and stab resistance. It can effectively protect human hand from being cut by sharp edges such as knives. Excellent anti-slip performance against falling objects from hands when picked up.
When conduct cut-proof test, take sample from the palm of cut-proof gloves, cross-cut with a tungsten steel rotary cutter, and record the number of revolutions required to cut through sample, then compare the results of standard cotton samples that are simultaneously staggered for comparison test. The higher calculated index, the stronger cut resistance. However, cut-proof test does not apply to very hard materials.
Cut-proof gloves` daily maintenance tips:
1. Stainless steel cut-proof gloves are suitable for all physical and mechanical damage of gloves, such as abrasion, cut, tear, puncture and son on, but not suitable for shockproof gloves.
2. Contact with sharp-edged objects for long-term, gloves will inevitably have small holes. Gloves need to be repaired or replaced to avoid danger if small hole of glove exceeds1㎡.
3, Stainless steel anti-cutting gloves must be cleaned after using, can be washed with high-pressure hot water or a safe instrument-specific cleaning agent, then rinse with water and dry.
